Want to work at one of the best craft breweries in the country?  Deschutes Brewery in Bend, Oregon currently has 2 jobs in the system.

The brewery is currently in search of an experienced Brewer.  Professional production experience is preferred, but candidates with brewing degrees or certifications will also be considered.

Deschutes is also looking for a Packaging Operator.  Required experience includes operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, along with mechanical and troubleshooting skills.  One to two years experience with bottling and/or canning preferred.

Projects will include: ad layouts, new product roll outs, interactive campaigns, graphic development, nurturing social media communities, public relations efforts, event concept development, web development, sales programs, and managing point of sale development and fulfillment.

The types of duties and responsibilities include: developing the strategy and creation of all supporting materials needed to maximize the market impact of new product rollouts, interacting with sales to identify target markets, target account types, and to define and monitor metrics for success.

Will also be responsible for creatively building strategy for the companys future interactive campaigns, including building an interactive strategy for events and sales programs. In addition, will assist in the creation of all graphic brand expressions, build strategy to deepen relationships with core customer groups, develop loyalty programs, assist in the continuing development of event concepts, oversee all photo shoots and video production for new product rollouts, special products, and the company website, and will be required to either write or oversee copywriting for all sales collateral materials, packaging and other communication.

A Senior Project Engineer is responsible for the planning and execution of multiple projects and resources. The qualified candidate must have 7 years of professional experience with the last three employed in a management position. This person would be responsible for the design, operations and maintenance or commissioning of over 200,000 square feet of projects. Hands-on experience should include working with steam management, steam distribution systems, and at least 5 years experience working with absorbers, chillers, boilers, and air ventilation balancing systems. Responsibilities will also include project schedule coordination and the assistance in management of the team work flow, project deliverable management, supervision of test plan creation, supervision of final report preparation and to manage field activities of team members. Time and expense management of their assigned engineers as well as providing guidance and knowledge to those engineers is included in this role. Must maintain existing clients & develop new contacts & clients along with regular attendance of professional society meetings of key organizations. Preferences include someone with the ability and experience to obtain a LEED Accredited Professional Certification and the future ability of achieving a Professional Engineering License.
